The Community-Now website is the central site from where you can find links to all of the community portals in the UK. It is also the central site for all of the information guides used by all of the community portals.
The company was set up in 2005 when we saw that there was a need for a community website that fullfilled the requirements for the community, for business and the general public. We felt that all of the sites we came accross only fullfilled one or two of these requirements. Also many are very cluttered with adverts and are not user friendly. Our aim is to provide a site that is easy to use, looks clean and uncluttered and fullfills the requirements f the local community. From this simple brief it has taken a year to develop the site to the postion that we have now launched our first sites. All of the sites are run by local people for local people.
